West Don Lands Public Realm

A new 32 hectare mixed-use community on the edge of downtown Toronto, focused on public life in the public realm.

Two and a half kilometers of new streets were designed to include spaces for walking, biking, cafes, public art, leisure, and living. Connected to downtown via a dedicated streetscar right-of-way, over 600 street trees were planted amongst wide unit-paved sidewalks as an investment in the City’s future. As a member of the Planning Partnership team, I was the project lead for the tendering and contract administration phase of the project.
